We are committed to providing paid work for professional musicians and thus, have a mandate to only include live music in our productions - never canned music or pre-recorded tracks.
Finally, we strive to create original, innovative and relevant theatre experiences that stimulate and inspire our community to think critically about the world around them, and to engage in constructive and creative discussion and self-expression.

Live theatre is an expensive art form with countless direct costs, which are often required to be paid “up front” before any revenues from ticket sales are received. These include show royalties (license fees), scripts, set materials, costumes, promotion and advertising, etc. Big Apple Productions does not receive any grants. Sponsorship by individuals or local businesses assists with these costs. It can be in the form of cash or in-kind, such as supplying items or services for our productions.
